A peppermint smoothie for the Holidays

The season of candy canes and snow-covered hills calls for the perfect peppermint smoothie recipe to match! Creamy avocado, chia seeds and Betsy’s Best make this super food smoothie a real holiday treat.

Peppermint Smoothie Ingredients

  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 ½ cup almond milk (or other milk alternative)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp peppermint extract
  • 8 drops liquid Stevia (or 4 dates)
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Honey for garnish
  • Crushed candy cane for garnish

Smoothie Directions:

Add all ingredients except candy cane and honey to blender. Blend until smooth. Line rim of a glass with honey and coat with crushed candy cane.
