Teriyaki Marinade Recipe

A Tariyaki marinade recipe featuring Betsy's Best Gourmet Peanut Butter

Are you ready to set your summer up for a healthy sizzle?  Light your grill and prepare your meat using our delicious and savory teriyaki marinade recipe.   Not only is the marinade loaded with healthy ingredients, as we learned in my healthy grilling blog post, the marinade will protect the meat from toxins created by the charcoal.

1/3 C mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)

1/4 C soy sauce

2 T Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter

2 1/4 tsp rice vinegar

1/2 tsp sesame oil

3 T white sugar

1 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 T minced fresh ginger

1 dash red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp chia seeds

black pepper to taste

Bring mirin to a boil in a saucepan over high heat.  Reduce to a simmer for 10 min.  Add additional ingredients and cook an additional 5 min.  Store in refrigerator and use as a marinade or dressing.

The teriyaki marinade recipe will add great flavor to your protein and used as a dressing on your greens will the the whole meal together.  Now that is cooking with a sizzle!
