Cashew Butter Coated Kale Chips
Here’s a healthy snack that packs a powerful punch! Kale meets Betsy’s Best in the most amazing chip form! Try this recipe and those unhealthy bagged chips will become a thing of the past!
- 1 bunch kale, washed, dried and de-stemmed
- 3 T Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter (substitute peanut butter or seed butter)
- 1 Tcoconut oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
In a bowl combine Betsy’s Best with coconut oil and salt. Stir together and add kale. Break kale into large pieces. Place either in dehydrator at 120 degrees for 12-24 hrs or place in oven at 250 degrees for 8-10 min or until crispy.
This is delicious made with each of the nut butters, Sunflower Seed, Peanut, or Almond. Add more cinnamon or nutmeg, sprinkle with hemp seeds, or add shredded coconut for some unique variations. You will find that this remarkable kale chip will satisfy every sweet craving and replace it with a healthier alternative! Yield-5-6 cups.
