Chocolate and pumpkin? Yes, this unusual combination is delicious, and add a twist with Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter and you have a brownie bite bursting with flavor! A great treat for a holiday party.

1 pkg gluten-free brownie mix
3/4 C pumpkin puree, unsweetened
1/3 C cream cheese
2 T Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter
1 T honey or 6 drops liquid stevia

Mix brownies according to package directions. Spray non-stick spray in mini muffin tins and fill 3/4 full. Bake for 10-15 min or until done. While cooling mix together pumpkin, cream cheese, and Betsy’s Best until smooth and no lumps of cream cheese are apparent. When brownie is cool enough to touch place a thumbprint in the center of each brownie bite. Place a dollop of pumpkin mixture in the center of each brownie. Store in refrigerator.

Not big on chocolate, you could use a snickerdoodle mix or sugar cookie mix instead or forgo the mix and make your cookie or brownie recipe from scratch!
