While all the ingredients in Betsy’s Best line of gourmet nut and seed butters were chosen because they were not made with genetically modified organisms (GMOs), receiving the stamp of approval from the Non-GMO Project was a non-negotiable for the company.

“We chose to get our products Non-GMO Project Verified because we respect people’s right to know what is in their food,” says Betsy Opyt, President and CEO. “We believe this verification offers the highest transparency about GMOs.”

Betsy’s Best was developed by Opyt, a registered dietitian, who was frustrated by the lack of healthy, great tasting nut butters available. Motivated to create an all-natural alternative, she created the recipes for each flavor in her kitchen.
