Cinnamon Almond Butter Banana Bread

Betsy’s recipe for cinnamon almond butter banana bread is an instant classic.  This breakfast treat is gooey and loaded with scrumptious flavor.  Come on! How could anything with bananas and the best gourmet nut butter not be amazing? Trust Betsy! You are going to absolutely love her recipe.  

Bread Ingredients:

1/2 T Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Almond Butter

1 1/2 c flour

1 1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp sea salt

1 egg or 2 egg whites

1 c mashed bananas

3/4 c sugar

1/4 c oil

Bread Topping

1/2 c oats

1/2 c flour

1/2 c sugar

2 T butter or coconut oil, softened

1 tsp cinnamon

Step By Step Almond Butter Banana Bread Recipe Directions:

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.  Stir to combine. 

Step 3: In a separate bowl mash bananas and add sugar, Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter, oil and eggs and stir to combine. 

Step 4: Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and gently stir until moistened careful to not over-stir. 

Step 5: Spray loaf pan with cooking spray and pour in mixture. 

Step 6: In a separate bowl add topping ingredients and stir until crumble forms. 

Step 7: Add bread topping to the top of the banana bread mixture and bake in the oven for 40 min or until knife comes out clean.

Step 8: Enjoy your cinnamon almond butter banana bread!

Eat clean, eat green, and stay lean with this delicious cashew butter, avocado and kale smoothie bowl recipe.  We love blending vegetables and flavoring them in a way that makes them fun to eat!  This bowl could be consumed at breakfast, lunch or as a health snack!  We used a powdered kale from Koyah, but you could also use fresh kale or spinach for this blended bowl.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 T Betsy’s Best Toasted Coconut Cashew Butter

1 Frozen banana

1 Frozen avocado

1 scoop Koyah Kale Powder (or 1 cup fresh kale or spinach)

1 T chia seeds

Almond milk if needed to make the right consistency

Step 1: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend.

Step 2: Pour into your favorite smoothie bowl.

Step 2: Poured the mixture into ice cube trays and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours.
