Brownie Ingredients:

1/2 C Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Almond Butter

1 c almond flour

3/4 C cacao powder

3/4 C sugar

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp sea salt

3 eggs

1/4 C coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

Frosting Ingredients:

3 T pumpkin

1/2 tsp vanilla

3 C powdered sugar

1/4 C coconut oil

cinnamon for garnish

Step By Step Dark Chocolate Brownies Recipe Directions:

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: In a large bowl combine almond flour, sugar, baking soda, cacao, and sea salt until blended.

Step 3: Add eggs, Betsy’s Best, coconut oil and vanilla.

Step 4: Beat until evenly mixed.

Step 5: Pour into a greased 8x8 pan and bake for 25-30 min.

 

Step By Step Pumpkin Frosting Recipe Directions: 

Step 1: In a separate bowl combine all ingredients for frosting and whip until incorporated.

Step 2: Place in refrigerator until brownies are finished baking and cooled.

The best almond butter brownie recipe

If gooey brownie are your thing then this is a delicious gluten-free decadent brownie recipe that you will love.  Hints of cinnamon blends well with the cocoa powder and the almond butter and honey make for the perfect texture of a moist brownie.  Even better, this recipe is gluten free, grain free, dairy free and a source of protein and fiber.

Brownie Recipe Ingredients:

2 large eggs
1/3 C honey
2 T granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 C Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter
6 T cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 C chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, or almonds

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, whip eggs, sugar, honey and vanilla until blended. Beat in Betsy’s Best almond butter until well combined and smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Fold in chocolate chips/chunks.

Spread brownie mixture evenly into prepared pan.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Yield: 12 squares.
