How To Make Peanut Butter Sauce For Ice Cream

Learning how to make peanut butter sauce for ice cream is super easy and a great idea.  Big brands are loaded with preservatives, artificial flavoring and way to much sugar. Betsy’s Best Homemade Peanut Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

2 T Betsy’s Best Gourmet Peanut Butter with Cinnamon

2 T Coconut Oil

Here are the directions for how to make peanut butter sauce for ice cream:

In a pot heat the Betsy’s Best and coconut oil until oil melts and you can easily incorporate the butter and oil together.  Remove and allow to cool to room temp.  Or place both in a microwave safe bowl and cook 30 seconds.  Stir and if still lumpy cook another 10-15 seconds until the two blend together.  Allow to cool at room temp.  If you have leftover topping place in the fridge and reheat the same way as instructed above.

Ice Cream Ingredients:

1 T Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Sunflower Seed Butter

2 frozen bananas, peeled

1/4 c eggnog (we used eggnog almond milk)

1/4 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1/8 tsp cloves

pinch sea salt

 

Step By Step Eggnog Ice Cream Recipe Directions:

Step 1: In a blender add all ingredients and blend until smooth like soft serve ice cream.

Step 2: Eat immediately and enjoy!

Yield: 4 servings.

Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Are you ready to make Betsy’s homemade chocolate peanut butter ice cream? Well, if you’re looking for a delicious vegan and gluten-free ice cream recipe, we’ve got the perfect one for you! By combining Betsy’s Best Gourmet Peanut Butter, vegan dark chocolate chips and a few other all-natural ingredients, you can make healthy homemade ice cream the whole family will love.

Recipe Ingredients:

Ice Cream Recipe Directions:

2 cans full-fat coconut milk (about 3 1/3 cups)

½ cup coconut sugar

1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped (do not discard pod)

Chocolate Crunch:

¾ cup vegan dark chocolate chips

1 tsp unrefined coconut oil

Peanut Butter Chunks:

1/3 Cup Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Peanut Butter

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step By Step Homemade Chocolate peanut Butter Ice Cream Recipe Directions:

Step 1Freeze ice cream machine bowl 24 hours ahead of time.

Step 2: Whisk coconut milk, sugar and vanilla beans in a large pot over medium heat. Add scraped vanilla bean pod. Bring to boil for 2 minutes, whisking frequently. Pour into heat-safe bowl and refrigerate until fully chilled. (If short on time, fill a larger bowl halfway with ice and place ice cream mixture bowl on top. Whisk occasionally to accelerate chilling. Avoid getting ice/water in the ice cream mixture. Add ice and drain water as needed until fully chilled.)

Step 3: Place Betsy’s Best in freezer for 5-10 minutes to thicken. Flatten between two pieces of parchment paper until slightly less than ¼-inch thick. Slide paper onto a pan and freeze for 1 hour. Remove and cut into small pieces about ¼-inch x ¼-inch. Put back in freezer (note: PB chunks will not fully harden).

Step 4: About halfway through chilling the ice cream mixture, melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between heating until fully melted and smooth. (Can also use a double broiler). Let cool on counter, making sure chocolate is still pourable.

Step 5: Spoon chilled ice cream mixture into ice cream maker. When ice cream starts to freeze and collect on mixer, stream the cooled, melted chocolate into the ice cream.

Step 6: Scoop ¼ of the ice cream into glass container. Add about ¼ of the peanut butter chunks. Repeat 4 times, packing down the ice cream as you go.

Step 7: Serve immediately or freeze in an airtight container with a piece of plastic wrap touching the top surface of the ice cream (to prevent freezer burn).

Step 8: Enjoy your homemade chocolate peanut butter ice cream!

Homemade Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream

Recipe Ingredients:

2 T Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Peanut Butter

4 frozen bananas cut into chunks

1 Tsp. vanilla extract

2 Tsp. cinnamon

1 pinch sea salt

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step By Step Homemade Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream Recipe Directions:

Step 1: Place bananas in a food processor or high-powered blender.

Step 2: Turn motor on. If you allow the motor to run, the frozen bananas will take on a creamy, frozen custard consistency.

Step 3: As soon as the bananas have turned into ice cream, add the salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and Gourmet Peanut Butter. Pulse to combine, and serve immediately.

Step 4: Ice cream can be stored in the freezer in a freezer safe container.

Step 5: To serve again, simply allow it to melt enough to turn it out into the processor again, and re-process. If you don’t do this, the ice cream will be very icy, so this step is important for your leftovers.
