Blackberry and Mint Almond Butter Sandwich

Here at Betsy’s Best we are taking the PB&J to new heights.  If you’re a foodie you are going to love this recipe a gourmet almond butter and jelly sandwich.  Featuring our cinnamon almond butter and mint, this sandwich will have you wondering why PB&Js are considered kids food.

Ingredients:

2 slices bread

2 T Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Almond Butter

]1 T Blackberry preserve

9 blackberries

6 mint leaves

Step By Step Recipe Directions:

 

Step 1: Assemble the sandwich with almond butter on one slice of bread and blackberry preserves on the other slice. 

Step 2: Add fresh blackberries on top of the preserve and garnish with the mint. 

Step 3: Place slices of bread together.

Step 4: Enjoy!

Who doesn’t love chocolate and mint in the same sentence! This green minty smoothie with chocolate chips would make Popeye proud! Rich nutrients from the spinach and avocado mix together with the sweet taste of the Betsy’s Best all whipped together and topped with chocolate drops. Get ready to cool those taste buds with a smoothie treat!

Blend until smooth.

The avocado makes this mint chocolate chip smoothie creamy, but if you are not a fan of avocado then swap 1 T of chia seeds instead.  Both are loaded with healthy omega-3s!
