Betsy’s Best Gourmet Almond Butter, Peanut Butter and Sunflower Seed Butter Hits the Shelves at Ingles Markets
NAPLES, FL – Betsy’s Best, maker of delicious and nutritious gourmet nut and seed butters, announced today their most recent partnership with Ingles Markets, the Asheville, North Carolina based grocer. Betsy’s Best Gourmet Peanut, Almond, and Sunflower Seed butters are now available in 201 Ingles stores throughout Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
President and CEO Betsy Opyt is the driving force behind Betsy’s Best. Frustrated by the lack of healthy, good tasting peanut butters available in the grocery store, Betsy was inspired to create an all-natural alternative that her young daughter would eat.
“As a registered dietitian, I know what all those hard to pronounce words on a label mean,” Opyt explains. “But you don’t need a certification to know that partially hydrogenated soybean oil, high fructose corn syrup, and trans fats aren’t good for you. I set out to make nut and seed butters with tasty and healthy ingredients that I feel good about feeding my family.”
The recipes she concocted in her Vitamix became Betsy’s Best. Each flavor features all natural and delicious non-GMO ingredients, including Himalayan pink salt, chia seeds, cinnamon and honey, sourced from responsible, honest and healthy vendors. All of the products are gluten free.
“Ingles prides themselves on their commitment to quality, and their business is built on family values,” says Opyt. “We couldn’t be happier to find a retail partner whose principles align so closely with our own.”
Ingles shares the sentiment. “We’re excited to add Betsy’s Best as a delicious nut and seed butter option for our customers,” said Tom Outlaw, Jr. Vice President Sales and Marketing. “Ingles strives to provide the best selection of products in our stores, and we know people will love Betsy’s Best Gourmet Nut and Seed Butters from the first bite.”
