Betsy’s Best Caramel Hummus Recipe

Betsy’s caramel hummus recipe makes for the perfect healthy snack.  Mot every hummus needs to be savory.  Featuring Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Almond Butter and caramel this hummus is a sweet and salty snack and it’s low in sugar, too.  Grab some apple slices or baby carrots and start dipping.  Your afternoon snack choices just got a whole lot better!

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 Cup Betsy’s Best Cinnamon Almond Butter
  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • ¼ cup + 2 Tbsp maple syrup (or 6 drops of SweetLeaf Vanilla Stevia)
  • ½ Tbsp vanilla extract
  • Apple or carrot slices

Step By Step Caramel Hummus Recipe Directions:

Step 1: Drain, rinse and peel chickpeas (peeling isn’t necessary, but makes a creamier hummus).

Step 2: Combine all ingredients in a food processor until hummus is smooth and emulsified.

Step 2: Serve with apples or baby carrots.
